Worlds Collide (Themed "American Style" Puzzle)

Didn't think I'll be back so soon, did ya? So far in my puzzle making journey, most if not all of the crosswords that I had been a part of have been collaborations. I have contributed several clues in some of  Norah Sharpe's  old puzzles, helped surprise CrossweirdTV with a crossword puzzle hunt , been featured (along many, many  creators) in two Gizmo's and Frisco's Just One Clue collabs , not to mention the three cryptics  that I created with the help of gordianTangle. However, as much as I like all of these crossword worlds colliding (*nudge nudge*), I've decided to finally make a solo puzzle. And with a secret theme that I think suits great with the theme of worlds colliding, as well as (in a way) blog puzzles in general. I would like to give thanks to Frisco for test-solving this puzzle. Coffee Break (9x9 Crossword)

*Yawn* Don't talk to me until I have my coffee puzzle. Wait, this is a coffee puzzle? Well then let's talk. Hey guys, back at it again with another cryptic collaboration with my good friend gordianTangle. This one is a bit smaller than the others but what it lacks in size it makes up for in theme. And as foreshadowed by the title and the first couple of sentences in this post, the theme of puzzle is something a lot of people can relate to, coffee! As for me, I have a sort-of on-again, off-again relationship with coffee. I mean I like drinking it from time to time, but I don't make it a precedent to drink it everyday. That being said, last Christmas my parents gave me a bundle filled with, like, 50 different flavors of coffee (each flavor was in its own K-cup, not like bags of coffee) (yeah I know, but since the rest of the immediate family doesn't drink coffee, the Keurig is the only coffee machine in the house at the moment). Anyway, that bundle was depleted by the end...

New Blog! (Including puzzles: Legendary Pairing & Themeless But Not Teamless #1)

Hello all my puzzly friends, and welcome to my new blog! In case you don't know me, I am DragonEngineer, a (currently) PhD mechanical engineering student and a lover of all things puzzly, especially puzzle hunts. I had competed in and completed several different puzzle hunts solo, where I also go by DragonEngineer (with the exception some hunts earlier in my career where I went as DraconianPhoenix). Anyway, what was I talking about? Oh yeah! This is going to be a blog where I post some of my puzzles and collabs (just don't expect a consistent upload as again, I am currently a PhD student). To get you started, here are my first two crosswords that I did, both of them are cryptics and both of them are collabs with fellow friend on Twitch, gordianTangle.
